Adventures of Juicy Jay

    I have found that sisters come in all shapes, all sizes and usually they look similar to you but for me, my sisters in Idaho definitely do not. I have four biological sisters and I talk to them as much as I can and I have a great relationship with nearly all of them but, after I moved to Idaho I ended up with soooo many more.    Danni,Sara,Nats,Kate,Mary,Erika&Emily     When I started dating Joe, I had no idea that it would be a family package. After we had been dating for a couple of months, one by one I was introduced to his family members.          People that serve missions have lots of different reasons for going and doing what they do. Maybe they go because that's what everyone in their family did, maybe they don't know what they want in life yet and this will help them figure it out, or maybe just maybe they are doing it because they know that they love the savior and believe in the gospel and want to help others come unto him in this way.                     For me personally, it's that last one mixed with a very important promise to a very special lady. When I was close to the end of my freshman year of college, I was attending college and things just working out. Naturally, I did the one thing I was absolutely sure of, I prayed with everything I could for guidance. I was really trying to find out what I should do. My answer was not, "serve a mission". Heavenly Father and I don't talk to each other that way, he makes me work for it....

     No matter what you do, sometimes it's just hard to be exactly what everyone wants. Some people may think you need a tan or maybe others think you should stay inside because "you're looking really dark". Maybe some people think you should let your stay in your natural state or maybe others like when you straighten or curl your hair. You have every right to choose what you want.      When I was a young girl, I was really chunky and I felt like I would never be good enough for my family and friends. I remember telling my grandma Susan, and she took my hand and said, "there is not anything about yourself that makes myself or God love you any less. You are beautiful and however you want to look, I will always love you". I was a freshman in high school when she told me that and I have tried my best to live by that as much as I possibly could.      There have been a lot of couples that have started dating during Covid-19, maybe some were in the middle of a relationship when it started, some got recently engaged before or got engaged during. Then there are quite a lot of people who have now gotten married since Corona virus started. Everyone has their own story, and some have certainly lasted longer than others.  1st picture together            My sweet man and I, well things started off amazing and they only went up from there.     T o say that growing up as the fourth of sixth children was crazy is a COMPLETE UNDERSTATEMENT. I think of all the things that I have faced in my life, that was one of the most challenging thing. I had three older sisters, a younger brother and a younger sister and man we were (definitely still are) a hand full. I know what you're all thinking, " C'mon Jay, what were they like? who was crazy?
