Sisters

I have found that sisters come in all shapes, all sizes and usually they look similar to you but for me, my sisters in Idaho definitely do not. I have four biological sisters and I talk to them as much as I can and I have a great relationship with nearly all of them but, after I moved to Idaho I ended up with soooo many more.

Danni,Sara,Nats,Kate,Mary,Erika&Emily

When I started dating Joe, I had no idea that it would be a family package. After we had been dating for a couple of months, one by one I was introduced to his family members. First was his little brother Jake and his girlfriend Kate, and if you get to hang out with Kate for an hour or more then consider yourself lucky. She's a hoot!! We took a little while to warm up to one another but after that, it's hard to not drive over and spend hours upon hours with this woman. She really encourages everyone around her to be the best version of themselves and to never change but simply just be who you are and have way too much fun doing it. Long story short: she's pretty awesome. Soon after that I got to meet Joe's little sister Mary. Mary is quiet at first but once we got to hung out some more, I found that she is very competitive and loves to have fun. So every time we get to together, I typically get creamed by her and Nats in Corn hole. Mary and her hubby Nate are so adorable and so much fun to be around! Before I knew it I had met each and every single one of his siblings, significant others and their kiddos, if they had any. I was amazed with how awesome each of them are and who they'd become as families. Danni and Scott take all the pictures and love to chat with everyone. Ben and Emily were THE ultimate parents and somehow managed to have so much fun while taking care of each of their four kids when needed. BLOWS MY MIND. I haven't met Steph in person but we've talked on the phone a few times and she and her kids are just so darn cute. Joe has told me a lot about Steph and some of her hobbies and favorite things, and to say I'm excited to meet her is such a huge understatement. Erica lives in Montana but I've seen her a few times and she is so fun and loves and cares for her children more than I could even attempt to comprehend. Sara and Cordell are perfect example of being super goofy and fun but great parents to their kids all at the same time. Fun fact: Sara is the best cake decorator/ full time mama I have ever seen!!  Natalie (Nats) is an incredible mama and just like each of the Davidson women, she does anything and everything for her children. She does her best to keep those three cute kiddos happy, while having fun but make sure they know right from wrong but, also lets them make their own decisions. Each of these women have amazing talents and being mothers has only made them even better women, wives and mamas, or the coolest aunties.
Tommy, Me, Megan, Bridget & KT

I have 4 biological sisters but only 3 of them I talk to on a regular basis. Megan, Katie, Bridget and I have made it our responsibility to talk to one another and make sure that if anyone is struggling then we will be there for one another. Megan has always been the person to talk to if any of us needed any advice. Being the oldest it was very helpful because I could ask her about things I had absolutely no idea about. Katie is the protector. She loves and she listens and when you're done, she'll tell you what she thinks at the end of it, and with her advice you can take it and apply it or just simply leave it. It's completely up to you.  Katie has always been the best listener and she never judges you for anything. I made a lot of decisions that in the end, I will have to face the consequences for but she is understanding and loves me no matter what. Bridget is the baby but she also loves everyone and she does her best to show her love in every way that she possibly can. She is also a great listener but loves to talk about things and learn about different perspectives. Bridget is my best friend and we talk about everything and depend on each other for support in one way or another. My sister that I don't talk to as much is Sydney. When I returned from serving my mission in Texas, she wasn't sure how much I had changed and she was definitely unsure how to approach me.  We weren't extremely close like we were before. At the end of the day, I had to explain that while we have our differences she is very much still my sister that i've always known and i'll always be grateful for the relationship that I have with her.
There is one thing that I have learned throughout my life, circumstances may change but my sisters and those relationships that we had or have never should.
