Marriage
There's a quote that I really love that reads, "... love meant that you care for another person's happiness more than your own, no matter how painful the choices you face might be".
The most important thing you learn in any relationship, brand new or long term, is that nothing should matter more than that other person and how they feel about you and the relationship. My husband tells me everyday how much he loves me and he shows it in his every day actions. I absolutely loathe doing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen due to it easy smelling like death but he cleans it every single day! He doesn't complain or get upset about how he has to keep cleaning the kitchen each single day.
Just the other day, I found a spider in my house near the back door and I nearly screamed but then I remembered that I have a loving husband to always A) do the dishes and B) kill/ get rid of all spiders for me!! So I, being the amazing wife that I am, lovingly woke up my husband from his nap and asked him to go get rid of the spider and guess what? HE FREAKING DID IT!! Everytime there is something that I just can't deal with myself, he just takes over and I love it!!
Over the course of the last four and a half months that we've been married, I have learned many things about my sweet husband. He loves to sleep as much as he possibly can but, he would wake up early to spend any and all of his able time with immediate family! He loves to play on his Xbox or his switch with his brother/ brow in laws or even stay up late playing board games with his siblings. He is extremely intelligent and the most sarcastic human being I have ever laid eyes on. The most important thing I have learned throughout our time together with my sweet Joseph is that once he loves you, as family or friend, there isn't a single thing that he wouldn't do for you.
Being his friend, his girlfriend, his fiance, his wife and most of all his partner in this life and the next has taught me that there isn't anything that Joe and I can't accomplish together!! We work together through everything and when we first started dating he promised that we would always be honest and open with me. Since our beginning, we have worked incredibly hard together and due to our marriage, there isn't anything we can't do together.
