     There's a quote that I really love that reads, "... love meant that you care for another person's happiness more than your own, no matter how painful the choices you face might be".       The most important thing you learn in any relationship, brand new or long term, is that nothing should matter more than that other person and how they feel about you and the relationship. My husband tells me everyday how much he loves me and he shows it in his every day actions. I absolutely loathe doing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen due to it easy smelling like death but he cleans it every single day! Happiness is something that will just fall into your lap. Happiness is worked hard for and made possible through patience and diligence.  My own personal happiness is something that I have fought for each and every day, and no matter the challenges that come each and every day, I continue to fight for my life and what I can do to be happy again.
